No Daimler mystery (upd. 1907 Standard Roi des Belges)

Michael Ware sends a photo that came to him from Alan Whytock. It was his grandfather's car and his mother always said it was a Daimler. Though you cannot see the front of the car the radiator surround does not look like a Daimler (check photo detail). It seems to have a hump in the top of it, rather like the Edwardian Standards, but this a bigger car than that. A lovely family grouping, with typically for the period the chauffeur standing to one side, but included all the same. Surely they did not all arrive in the one car? The costumes are terrific and even the family dog is included on the front seat. We still hope to hear what is the location, yet it looks like a Midlands(?) hilltop.

There is a lot similarity to the car my trip-trip grandfathers brother, Eigil Møller had.
He went from Denmark to Darjiling in India near to the Nepal border in the beginning of the century, and started a tea farm as the first in the highland. He was successful and own as I know a Standard Avon Roi de Belge from around 1907-08.
Around 1917-18 the family was on holiday in Denmark with the car, as it was told from the older in the family.

I don't see the problem with the size of the car. It certainly is a Standard of circa 1907. You can find a car with Roi-des-Belges body exactly like this one in the Coventry Transport Museum.

It looks like a 1907-ish Standard 30hp.

I don't know about the car but I would suspect they are on their way to a race meeting. See the ticket/pass stuffed into the top pockets of two of the men.
