Pioneer Run 2020

81st ANNUAL PIONEER RUN!

Plans for the 81st Annual Pioneer Run for veteran motorcycles are complete. 

Some 300 riders from all over Europe and beyond will ride their venerable motorcycles from Tattenham Corner, near the famous Epsom horse race course, to Brighton City Airport at Shoreham on the South Coast. There will be a coffee stop and checkpoint at beautiful Leonardslee gardens en route for riders to make adjustments and enjoy a welcome break. All sorts of wonderful ‘bikes will be taking part including eight tricycles and a quad dating from the19th century! Spectators will have great views of the machines as they pass, and at the finish, Brighton City Airport, with its superb art deco terminal building. The airport itself dates from the early years of aviation and is a fascinating location.
