The First Issue of Rare & Unique Vehicles Magazine is Out!

VIENNA, Austria – 11 November, 2020: ceauto GmbH, an Austro-Hungarian media company is proud to present Rare & Unique Vehicles.

Rare & Unique Vehicles is a new, quarterly magazine, which aims to show and interpret the rarest and the most unique vehicles from the world of classic motoring.

Each issue will focus on a central theme, followed by a few anniversary-related features and a "Spin the Globe" section, which is a unique column, featuring unusual and interesting cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses, and other various transportation vehicles from around the world.

The first issue has just been completed and it is available in digital format in the Readly app (www.readly.com).

The central theme is streamlining. There are 19 articles featuring the early pioneers, such as Edmund Rumpler and Paul Jaray, but also 1930s American concept cars, a standalone piece on the revolutionary Stout Scarab, Czech, French, Italian efforts, German racing cars and buses from the 1930s and even 1950s Soviet streamlined racing cars.

“Streamlining continues to fascinate automotive enthusiasts, and we are still learning about obscure car that history has forgotten. Rare and Unique Vehicles is continually searching out the bizarre, the obscure, the most wonderful examples, and each issue will surpass and delight you,” says Ken Gross, auto historian and guest curator for more than a dozen exhibitions of fine cars in fine art museums.

You can also read about a Trabant-based buggy, 50 years of the Bond Bug, the 100th anniversary of the first BMW motorcycle engine and more.

“(It’s)not often that I see a magazine where say, a Bond Bug is almost mainstream compared to the other cars featured,” said Steve Hole, editor of the British TKC magazine when he submitted his piece on the 50th anniversary of the Bug.

Forthcoming issues will feature Small and Microcars, Custom Vehicles, Alternative Energy Vehicles and Coachbuilt Vehicles.

Dr Pal Negyesi, a Hungarian motoring historian is behind the project. He needs your support.
