REO 1908, ready for 3004...

Maciek Peda from Poland reports about his REO that recently came to the road for the first tiem since the twenties...:"We have finished the first road tests. The REO is incredibily fast! We drove over 60 km/h ! This particular example is called Two Cylinder Gentleman's Roadster Model A (or Model C; as the factory documentation gives different information), year of production 1908, Chassis no 11102 (ed. :clic for view on restored chassis) . We bought this car in July 2000 in Canada. Was in pretty bad condition but fortunately complete to the last nut & bolt. We had to remake all sheetmetal, including fenders, fake hood, and firewall. Luckily the original parts were as patterns preserved. Rest of body is made from wood (seat, trunk and main body). It is unclear, if this body was originally used with this car. We bought the car with this body together, and is slightly different in details compared to a standard REO body. (photos courtesy Maciek; click to see the final result)
