The paint is slightly faded since the car was picked up new from the UK dealership in 1902. The owners saw little point in selling the car over the years and generations to follow. On the contrary, the little, shy Peugeot was an apt birthday present for young motoring enthusiasts in the family. First it was given to a lad who became 18. Later on to a young man for his 21st birthday. For unknown reason the car has not been in use since 1960. And also it is not known if it ever participated to London-to-Brighton. Both not due to technical inconveniences, as the car started easily after a two hours fettle. So far the only one BIG problem which comes with the car. In 1904 a registration number became obligatory in the UK and this car was the first to be registered in Cumberland; 'AO1'. In today's market this means the Registration alone is far-far-far higher valued than the car itself... Of course it would be a criminal offence to force car and licence into a divorce after so many years of loyal service. Just for the money. But who has both enough Style AND Money to keep things how they are? You ?
Now before calling Gavin McGuire +44(0)1892 770310 be aware that the price of the registration alone is of a level that makes that you get the car more or less for free...
