Great Names meet at the Ligne Maginot

Paul Linster reports from the yearly End of Holiday rally of the Luxembourg Veteran Car Club. It was an interesting field of 20 cars, here lined up at the massive entrance of the Ligne Maginot. What for instance was the last time you saw a 1918 Stoddard Dayton on the road in Europe? Other great names included Panhard-Levassor, FN and an Amédée Bollée special or ? On the way the cars attracted a fresh married couple who loved to get photographed against the backdrop of a 1930 Packard.  For the full report by Paul proceed to Read More.

The 1918 Stoddart- Dayton looks like a 1911 or 1912. Production ceased in 1913, maybe a leftover sold after the great war. The Bentley in the same photo is a 1926 or newer, as is equipped with stone guard on radiator.
