Some 20 years back this chassis was saved from a breakersyard in South Bayern. Changes to the steering set up and signs of severe overloading suggest that the chassis was horsedrawn and used for transporting heavy stuff, like timber or similar. First we like to give you some idea of the dimensions. Radstand (Wheelbase) 288 cm. Spur (Track) 132cm. Länge (length) 414 cm
Further a chassis number was found on the right dumb iron # 935. Charteristic is the differential (note the the misuse showing on the leaf- springs!) and possibly this frontaxle detail.
So far the only reason to presume that it may be a german made chassis is the text on the hubcaps. On one side it reads: "Fest AB Linke Seite " and on the other: "Fest Ab Rechte Seite". Your ideas and suggestions are welcome! (photo Hubert Kranz)
ich interessiere mich bei dem Stoewer Rahmen d3 für die Speichenräder und Naben. Besteht die Möglichkeit, diese von Ihnen zu kaufen?
Über eine Antwort von Ihnen freue ich mich.
Viele Grüße
