The choice of a new generation? (Youngsters V)

Sent to us by Damian Jones - vintage & veteran specialist at auctionhouse Cheffins: "I am probably too old to qualify for the above discussion on youngsters not being interested in Vintage and pre-war cars but I did buy this Alvis Special at the ripe old age of twenty five. It cost me everything I had at the time but has proved more than worth it in the intervening four years.
I do not drive it as much as I would like (averaging only 2,500 miles per year principally on long haul trips) but it never ceases to thrill me. It is a total bastard in terms of ancestry being an unholy combination of ...... (photo courtesy Damian Jones)
