The Duesenberg collector's favourite.

It is not hard to fill pages, articles and even books on the superiority of the Duesenberg cars. It is more difficult to make comparisons. Which one is better. Which one is nicer. Which one gives the best ride. Which one is most imposing. Which one was most ahead of its time, most technically advanced. When it comes to the historical perspective you best ask a knowledgeable historian. Somebody like Fred Roe. But when it comes to the owner perspective, who should you ask? Jay Leno ? Maybe we have a better expert in this, and there is no need to call him. It's the man who has seen and drove and loved and cherished the automobile of which you can see the slick dashboard here. At one time he used to own no less than 15(!) Duesenbergs. All meticulously restored. Between all those timeless devine beauties was this one car he preferred above all others. This one he thought is the best, the very best: the 1930 Duesenberg J Murphy Town Car Chassis #2401, Engine # J 381. Now when the price of petrol is no issue for you. When there is no need for you to call Don Williams, Richie Clyne or Dean Kruse to ask what the estimate is.
