The Heartbeat of Ruurlo (NL). UPDATE: St. Willibrorduskerk

After yesterday's Fisher Tower here the humble tower of Ruurlo's Petrus church. Still, the building was designed by not the least architect: P.J.H. Cuypers who created the two worldfamous neo-gothic statements of Amsterdam. The Centraal Station (the Central station of Tokyo is a copy of that) and the worldfamous Rijksmuseum (www.NAI.nl). The car in the foreground is a Chevy of course, but to nbe mnore specific 1922? Our clues are the curved front axle in combination with the 'thin' fender front ends and high-up curved windshield base. Now wait what you experts out there say about this [email protected] (photo from family album Jan van den Berg)
UPDATE by Frans Besselink: There has never been a Pteruskerk in Ruurlo. Todays's 'hervormde kerk' was buiolt in 1359 as the catholic St. Willibrorduskerk. In 1596 the church became Dutch Reformed. In 1868 today;s churc was designed by the famous architect Cuypers.(sender was born in the town of Ruurlo in 1935)
