-   The mist and drizzle forecast fortunately did not materialise.
-   Competitors were queuing bright and early to be scrutineered next
    to Ashover Parish Hall.
-   96 cars started.
-   Conditions were dry in comparison with recent years and the scores
    were very high with five cars dropping only three points or less.

Dr Jonathan Rose in his 1939 Allard
 
Short wheelbase Modified and Special cars
Peter Kite in the oldest car his 1921 GN winning the Dick Batho Trophy.
 
Long Wheelbase standard cars
John Dobson in his 1929 Model A Ford
 
Long Wheelbase Modified and Standard cars
James Bell in his 1930 Chrysler 66 winning the Patrick Marsh Trophy.
