Il clacson più insolito?

Allego il clacson più strano che io abbia mai trovato. Non riesco a trovarne uno simile in nessun sito su Internet.
Quando l’ho preso, non funzionava: era molto arrugginito all’interno e completamente bloccato.
L’ho smontato e pulito, e ora la parte elettrica funziona. Sto ancora cercando una nuova pompetta e un’ancia per completarlo. È ESTREMAMENTE rumoroso!

This is a Klaxon Type 20 Combination Horn, made by the Lovell-McConnell Manufacturing Company of Newark, New Jersey from c.1914, priced $20 retail and $30 list price. The right-angle diaphragm drive used on all versions of the Type 20 was unique to Lovell-McConnell, which went to great lengths to protect all its patented designs in many court cases. The firm was renamed Klaxon Company on becoming part of the United Motor Corporation in September 1916 and from January 1917 made only the manual Klaxon 3 and the electric-only 6, 12 and 20 models.

I'm familiar with this horn; it's part of my Packard 2-38, built in 1914. According to the list, there are three other examples of this vehicle. It's number 53810, the only car of this type delivered to Europe.
