A charming entry for next years Pebble Beach Prewar Preserved category. In 1926 this model A Duesenberg was sold new to a banker from Marion, Indiana, US. After 1934 the car was not in use any longer and was acquired by a Packard dealer who sold the car in the early sixties to an owner in upstate New York. Only recently the car is brought back on the road after some mechanical work had been done. The tatty paintwork, nickle plating, seat covers and even the fabric Duesenberg sparetyre cover are all original and never redone. This Duesenberg under auction at Ebay. You can smell the perfume of the roaring twenties when you put your nose inside. Sunday September 23 at the Castle Hill Concours d'Elegance in Ipswich, Massachusetts. photo Eric Killorin)
