The Pre-1940 Triumph Motor Club Annual Rally and Triumph Marque Day Picnic

Press release

To celebrate 101 years of Triumphant motoring, the Pre-1940 Triumph Motor Club again organised their annual rally and A.G.M. over a weekend shared with the owners and enthusiasts of all the classic Triumph marques, with pre- and post-war cars gathering for display.

It was another huge success, with nearly three hundred cars attending over both days, and the weather gods again blessed us with some very fine weather. Owners, families and friends wandered around the grounds of Woodland Grange at Leamington Spa on June 22nd and 23rd, admiring the sight, sounds and smells of the variety of cars from early 1920s Triumph and Standard models, through those produced in the 1950s and 1960s, to the last models produced bearing the Triumph badge.

All attending were invited to complete a voting slip for our Concours Competition and this year the Founders' Plate was awarded to proud owner Colin Bullock for his 1934 Triumph Dolomite 8C, one of only two known to exist and unanimously voted Best of Show.
