'The Right Crowd and no Crowding' (UPDATEs)

UPDATE - Lars-Göran Lindgren is interested to hear from if the depicted Amilcar 'Widengren Special' maybe has connection with the Swedish racingdrivers Henken (Update: it was Henken) or Per-Victor Widengren (Leif Snellman's The Golden Era).
EARLIER TEXT: You lucky ones! We decided not to take this photo for 'What is it?' Bet you would not have known either of both cars racing at Brooklands, UK. Unless you are an inner-inner Brooklands fanatic. Or when your name is John Ward. As he is the owner of number 9 and near finishing the restoration of it. Now even John Ward had no idea which car was number 9... For this he had to meet Glen Robb of the UK Amilcar-Salmson Register. OK , we no longer keep you up. Number 9 is a Talbot. Number 15 an Amilcar C6, this one known as the Widengren Special. The cars finished as nr. 1 and nr 2. .... Want to check these results of the Locke King Trophy 1939? OK, click here or go and see the Brooklands Museum. Now we also here that when you interested in quick Talbot driving that you should ask the club for their new DVD... yes, nowadays you need more & more diggie stuff to see the real old stuff. Check: The Sunbeam Talbot Darracq Register ... and ask them for the new DVD that is not online yet. (photo courtesy John Ward; results card, collection Glen Robb)
