What you see here is the result of a recent mindgame. My friend Jan Stellingwerff and I (or was I just listening and drinking my wine?) were discussing the option to have a trailer to take his Austin Seven Ulster or the Amilcar to far away events. But where leave the bl.... thing before and after? Room is a scarce commodity in Holland. We shared our preliminary ideas for a folding trailer with custom trailer builder Jansen (known from their CarVan) from Wesepe, Holland. Before we had the opportunity to bring a visit, he gave a phonecall in his typical Eastern Dutch slang and said that The Thing was ready !?! That's how they act down there. Don't discuss it just make it, like in the good old prewar days... So here we have prototype nr. 1. of the TrailAway (a better name is welcome).
