This…, yes what is it?
We know is it not a very good quality photo, but we really like what is in this photograph. That is why we decided to share it with you today. This…, yes what is it? A car? Maybe a camper van? It has also something of a submarine. We have absolutely no idea. But it looks rather fun. If we had to make up a simple story matching the photograph, it could, for instance, be; that the man and the woman in the front are on a road trip. They stopped at a garage to get fuel. As you do not see these vehicles that often, the garage owner asked them if he or she could take a photograph. They sort of quickly half posed next to the vehicle. SNAP! The man on the right-hand side was not aware of the fact a photograph was taken and froze (looking at is posture and facial expression).
But all this still has not answered our question. Maybe anyone can help. Who can identify this vehicle? What make, and/or model is it? Please comment below!
Have you also seen something extraordinary? Please send it to us!

There's not a lot of information about this car. Apparently it's powered by a Ford flathead V8, and (not visible in this image) a set of rocket engines, which could be cut in after the car attained 115 mph--or 300 mph, if you believe the warnings printed on the side. I rather doubt that the rockets were at all functional. It was bodied in aluminium, measured 20 feet long and 6 feet high, and was built at a cost of $16,000. It first appeared in 1934 as a promotional car for the Pan American Petroleum Corporation, and later for the Golden West Brewery. In the early 1940's it was seen promoting the Ringling Brothers Circus, and disappears thereafter. A fellow named Peter Vacca (or Vacco) of Buffalo, New York, claimed to have built it.

It looks a lot like the 1934 Mars Express, right down to the headlights and hubcaps.
