Next Friday, August 22 the Stanley Museum will organize a fund raising auction. Already there have been no less than five Stanley Steam Cars consigned for this auction, but there are also close to a dozen engines and really tons of other parts. There are nearly 340 lots of which this 1000 Lbs gage (or gauge) is just one. The Stanley Museum is located in the USA, but the good news is that you don’t have to visit the museum to bid on the lots. Live, on-line bidding is possible. It should be a very interesting auction, especially for anyone in the market for a “condensing” Stanley.
