Geoff Clark Essex from New Zealand reports through the Hudson/Essex/Terraplane forum: I have looked at the pic, and sorry to report, this is not an original mascot. The one shown is on a 1929 Hudson, which originally had a 12-sided peaked radiator cap. the 1928 Hudson had a winged man cap, nothing like the one shown.....Thank you Geoff! We learn all the time.
