It is a nice dashboard of a US made quality car from the thirties (<<< editor's typo: this must be twenties of course). While the car as a whole needed new paint and upholstery many years ago, the owner was very wise to retain what did not need to be redone. In this way he kept the touch of history with the car. Now up to you to decide which car this is. We'll give you a few hints of course. But first a bit more detail (click). The car is one of the smaller made by this very well known marque and the first which they made with four wheel brakes. The model was introduced in the mid twenties, about in the middle of the lifecycle of the marque that was in business a bit less than forty years. By most enthusiasts these cars will be remembered more by their headlights than by their radiator. You may know the name of the car now, but which coachwork, which type, which year? Give us all your knowledge on this car in less than 100 words in order to have a chance to win the infamous PreWarCar T-shirt. Be sure to send in before Monday, July 2nd to [email protected]. But first read The Rules under Read More. (photos source to be published next week)
