Drawings of automobiles are mostly not too clear for a good identification, so we will have to give you some extra information. This drawing comes from a series of stamps issued by a country that before WW II had no automobile industry to speak of. Yet they dedicated a series of six stamps to their early automobiles. The creator of this one started by developing an engine that could be transported by pack saddle, then made a 2-cylinder car that was unsuccessful. His next car had a Benz engine and gave good service. After the company had been joined by two men from Argyll more models were built, but it is believed the total did not exceed twelve cars. The company then became a franchise for Ford, but did not survive the depression. Do you know which make we are talking about? Then please give us your answer in 100 words (preferably less) telling us all you know. You can use the Contact Form or the 'Add new comment' box below, but do so before Monday, March 5. Have a great weekend!
