Whatisit? Quiz # 328

•

We are positive that many, many of our readers from a certain part of this world have travelled in this bus lots and lots of times. So we are positive they will have no trouble identifying it. For all others we must add that a company, who until then made a different, yet similar kind of transport, started to manufacture these busses in 1936. The photo is in black & white, but we can assure you that most were painted in a bright color. So by now you must have a fair idea of what this is. Do tell us the make; what is the original name of the company and especially why it was thus called. And of course there's more to tell. Please do so but use no more than 100 words. Send us your answer by using the Contact Form or the 'Add new comment' box below. Maybe we could all learn something!
