A slightly different quiz this week, as this time we don’t have a car to show. Instead we present you with a cosy scene of this family of five. However, this isn’t just any family and two of them have certainly made their mark in automotive history: as engineers, innovators and designers of automobiles and engines. In fact, the father was even nicknamed “King of Designers”. The son became an engineer and assistant to his father from 1904 to 1906, although his dad had already introduced him to the world of mechanics at a very early age. Between 1905 and 1906 father and son jointly developed a six-cylinder racing car, the only one they ever worked on together. In 1909 they changed course doing something completely different.
